According to the latest results of one research published on the “Archives of Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine” in September, infants and preschool-aged children with insufficient nighttime sleep is probably at risk of subsequent obesity. More specifically, this study which is conducted in the University of California and University of Washington in Seattle considers the connection between sleep and weight among 1,930 children from 0 to 13 years joining in a survey in 1997 and in 2002 again.
In the first place, if the children at the age of around 4 surveyed for the first time sleep for under 10 hours per night, they are linked to a twofold risen danger of being obese at the second survey.
